Overview
Job Summary:
Family therapist will serve families and children referred by Crescent House staff. Therapist will work with the clients and families to develop case plans that include individual and family therapy with focus on trauma related issues. Therapist will participate in Children’s Advocacy Centers of Georgia mental health peer review and ongoing education in the field of child maltreatment for the minimum CEU’s as require to maintain Crescent House accreditation. Therapist will serve as a member of the Macon Circuit Multidisciplinary Teams to advise on mental health issues or questions that may arise.
Education, Experience and Training:
Master's degree in family therapy, counseling, social work or related discipline.
One year experience in field of social work, counseling or family therapy or completion of internship in related field.
Licensure in Family and Marriage Therapy preferred.
