Pediatric Endocrinology Opportunity

Atrium Health Navicent Medical Group is recruiting a Pediatric Endocrinologist to join a well-established practice in central Georgia.  We are looking for a provider motivated to meet the highest possible standards of care and to partner in providing the best in evidence based safe care in a premier and highly respected environment. Atrium Health Navicent Beverly Knight Olson Children’s Hospital is the regions only dedicated pediatric hospital and one of the largest pediatric providers in the State. Serving 45,000 plus patients annually from 79 Central and South Georgia counties, the hospital includes 4 dedicated pediatric operating rooms, 22 beds dedicated to general pediatrics, a 66-bed neonatal intensive care unit, 11 bed pediatric intensive care unit, a 10-bed pediatric intermediate care unit, dedicated pediatric critical care and pediatric hospitalist teams, a pediatric outpatient procedural area, and a full range of pediatric diagnostic services.  Atrium Health Navicent is part of the Advocate Health family which includes a unique opportunity to be a part of a network of clinical programs with partnerships across Advocate Health.

Position Details: 

• Provides consultation to general pediatric floor, PICU, and NICU services
• Participates in grand rounds and education of residents and students 
• Primarily outpatient based with advanced practice provider and diabetes educator support
• Covers call for outpatient clinic and the hospital

Requirements of Ideal Candidates:

• Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Active Georgia License or ability to obtain.
• Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
