Atrium Health is offering a new virtual primary care model to bring access, convenience, and quality to their patients.  This state-of-the-art virtual clinic will deliver care to wherever the patient is at a time that is convenient for the patient, leveraging technology to offer primary care services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Highlights of the position:

• Rotating schedules since our service operates 24/7/365, shifts will also vary from daytime, evening, and overnight hours, which may include some weekends & holidays
• Work Schedule: Week 1 - Mon/Tues/Sat 8a-8p & Friday 10a-6p; Week 2 - Sunday/Wed/Thursday 8a-8p
• Staffing Model: Typically 1-6 APPs and 1-2 physicians, depending on shift
• Number of Cases-3- 4 patients per hour on virtual platform, includes video and e-visits
• Will be responsible to supervise up to 7 Virtual OnDemand APPs
• Practices see traditional acute episodic care for all ages 

Ideal candidate:

• Minimum of 4+ years of experience in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Urgent Care
• Despite being a remote position, Physician must reside in NC or SC
• Strong virtual presence
• Must be able to work autonomously
• NC and/or SC Licensure and DEA
• American Heart Association BLS
