Overview

Job Summary

Interacts with physicians, office staff, patients, family members, and caregivers in the process of issuing and fitting home sleep therapy equipment. Performs prequalifying processes for certain therapies and communicates this information to the intake department and physician offices.



Essential Functions

  • Coordinates product delivery, and teaching all facets of use and care, transport, inventory control, paperwork and documentation.
  • Manages delivery, setup, testing, education and fitting of sleep therapy equipment to patients in physicians offices, home office or sleep lab.
  • Obtains, secures, and transfers to intake all pertinent documentation (orders, demo, etc.) prior to delivery of equipment.
  • Maintains off site inventories, and cleans/tests returned equipment per policy.
  • Maintains confidentiality of all patient, client, agency and System related information and promotes and adheres to the Corporate Compliance programs of Carolina Home Care and the System.
  • Retains all relevant certifications and competencies, performs all other related duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

Lifting up 50 lbs, walking, sitting and standing.



Education, Experience and Certifications

NC RPGST license required; BLS certification and home care experience preferred. Current, valid drivers license and auto insurance required.
