Job Summary
Provides support and leadership of high school athletic trainers.
Essential Functions
- Provides support and leadership to athletes, coaches, athletic trainers, medical team, and community.
- Develops and manages annual goals and budgeting.
- Serves as Co-chair for Heart of a Champion Day.
Physical Requirements
Requires frequent walking, standing, sitting, lifting, and reaching. Requires ability to lift a minimum of 10 pounds shoulder high and 50 pounds waist high. Requires ability to hear (corrected) and vision (corrected).
Education, Experience and Certifications
Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred. Certification through the National Trainers Association required. 3 years experience as High School or college NATA certified athletic trainer required. Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) from AHA required.
