Piedmont OBGYN is a wonderfully established practice with procedures that take place at Atrium Health-Pineville Hospital, a U.S. News & World Report best hospitals ranking and top-rated maternity hospital in the US. We are currently hiring Nocturnist or Certified Nurse Midwife.

Atrium Health Pineville offers comprehensive maternity services in a warm and comfortable environment. Our maternity center has been recognized for supporting multiple birthing options and working with families to accommodate birth plans.

Practice Information

  • Established OBGYN practice
  • 14 Physicians and 14 Advanced Practice Providers
  • Average around 200 monthly deliveries at Atrium Health Pineville Hospital
  • Four office locations in the South Charlotte and Northern South Carolina: Ballantyne, NC, Steele Creek, NC, Fort Mill, SC and Rock Hill SC 

Opportunity Highlights

  • Team approach to managing the maternity center with 2 CNMs and a MD on call 24/7
  • 24-hour and 12-hour call shifts 
  • Full scope midwifery with 2-4 days per month in the office

Minimum Qualifications

  • License to practice as a Registered Nurse required.
  • Certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board and approved to practice as a Nurse Midwife in the state of NC/SC.
  • Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider from AHA required.
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certified
  • Minimum 1 year as a CNM or 5 years’ experience in labor and delivery
