Overview
The Staff Education Coordinator plans, implements and evaluates staffing-service educational needs and collaborates with staff educators across the system to maximize educational efforts and resources.
The qualified candidate will possess the following:
A. Education
1. Graduation from an approved school of Registered Professional Nurses
2. BSN preferred
B. Licensure/Certification
1. Valid, active unencumbered Nursing license approved by the Georgia Licensing Board for GA locations and Alabama Licensing Board for AL locations
2. BLS certification
3. CPR Instructor
4. Current valid driver's license and ability to drive own car
C. Experience
1. At least two years of varied work experience as a professional nurse
2. Demonstrated ability to access and respond to the needs of patients and families in varied settings
3. Skilled in nursing practice and able to cope with patient/family emotional stress
4. Experience with Word and Excel
