Overview
Levine Cancer Institute – Greater Charlotte Market- a part of Atrium Health, is currently seeking a qualified Heme/Onc Advanced Practice Provider to join the APP flex pool to cover vacancies within our inpatient, outpatient, and infusion areas caring for hematology and oncology patients.
This APP could function in a variety of clinical settings depending on the need of the department. Primary roles of the APP within LCI include inpatient, outpatient, infusion, or hybrid roles. The patient population may vary depending on the clinic or location needing coverage.
Position Description:
- 10-hour shifts for most roles
- Consideration of shift hours based on business need.
- Generalist or subspecialty care
Position Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited NP or PA program.
- Nurse practitioners are required to have a master’s degree or doctorate in nursing practice.
- Physician Assistants with certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants preferred. Current or pending CAQ certification preferred.
- Current prescriptive privileges and DEA license required.
- BLS for healthcare provider from AHA required.
- 1+ years Hematology/Oncology experience required.
- Chemotherapy order writing experience preferred
- NC Licensure.
- Possible SC Licensure needed for certain roles.
