Join Our Team: Inpatient Psychiatrist in High Point Medical Center!

Are you ready to make a difference in the lives of adults battling psychological and addiction challenges? We're seeking a dedicated Inpatient Psychiatrist to join our dynamic team under the leadership of our Medical Director, Dr. Fernando Cobos.

Position Highlights:

• Flexible Schedule: Enjoy a 7-on, 7-off rotation with the option to transition to a 5-day week.
• Departmental Focus: Inpatient Psychiatry Unit,  ED Service, C/L Service and ECT service.  
• Dynamic Clinic Structure: Work alongside 2 MDs and other APPs
• Work-Life Balance: Get a generous 26 weeks off per year—just arrange coverage for additional weeks!
• Night Shift Freedom: No overnight duties; our Advanced Practice Providers handle night calls.
• Educational Opportunities: Help shape the future of mental health with resident supervision as we develop our residency program.

General Psychiatrist Qualifications:

• Certification: Candidates should be board certified or board eligible in Psychiatry
• License: Eligible for NC Medical License. 

Who We're Looking For:

• New graduates from residency programs and/or experienced physicians with a passion for psychiatric care.
• A background in Addiction Psychiatry is a plus!
• Flexible, team-oriented individuals ready to contribute to our mission.
• We also need support in the Emergency Department, so adaptability is key!
