Overview
| 1.0 FTE (rank based on candidate, Assistant/Associate/Professor) to serve as the Deputy Director of OPAT services and continue expanding the model of centralized care across the network. The position is also tasked with integrating more clinical trial activity into the practice model. The ID Section of AHWFB is highly regarded for clinical care and consultations for antibiotic management are common. To maintain that reputation of excellence among our patients and colleagues, we need to be able to provide easy access to hospital follow-up appointments and outpatient consultations (to avoid hospitalizations). Increasing demand for OPAT services can only be met by increasing providers. This position will be training and overseeing several APP’s engaged in providing these services. |
