Atrium Health Levine Children’s Division of Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join their team in Concord, NC. This role functions in the outpatient clinic with a supervising physician. During the first six months, there will also be some travel to the Charlotte location for training. 

 

The team currently has 4 Developmental Pediatricians and 4 Advanced Practice Providers. The multidisciplinary team also includes psychologists, therapists, social work, and speech therapists. The APP would develop care plans individually or in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team. While some specialty consultations will be a part of this role, most care will be follow-up visits to monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and provide ongoing support and education to patients and families.

 

 

Position Highlights include:

  • Monday- Friday, regular business hours 
  • Shared overnight call rotation with all providers for 1 week at a time. Call service is via telephone only and is provided for patients already established with the practice.     
  • No inpatient call coverage
  • Must have at least 1 year of pediatric experience- PA, FNP, PNP-PC/ AC, PMHNP
  • Rotate to Levine Children's Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics in Charlotte for the first 6 months. 

 

Qualifications:

  • Approved to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state one works.
    • Nurse Practitioner – Master's Degree or Doctorate of Nursing Practice required. License to practice as a Registered Nurse required. Certification in the area of practice from a nationally recognized certifying body required. FNP, PMHNP, PNP-BC or PNP-AC board certification preferred based population served.
    • Physician Assistant – Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant program required; Master's Degree preferred. Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants preferred.
