Overview

Summary of Responsibilities: 

Chief administrator for the Department of Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery.  Responsible for:

  • All clinical operations, strategic planning, finance, academic administration, research studies, facilities, regulatory and human resources activities. 
  • Supports improvements in Quality/Safety, People, Operational Excellence, Education, Research, Financial Performance and Strategy/Growth for the Department of Otolaryngology. 
  • Acts as a liaison with all levels of administration, faculty, and outside organizations to coordinate the business with the aim of value-based care and population health for our community. 

Education and Experience Required: 

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Health Administration, or related field of study required. 
  • Five years health care financial/ administrative experience with progressively responsible management experience including three years in a management or high-level supervisory position required. 
  • Preferred: Director level experience and experience in academic medical center. 

Leadership: 

  • Staff leadership 
  • Financial management 
  • Planning, directing, continuous Improvement, institutional support, customer service and outreach services
