Overview
The Facilities Planning Coordinator assists the Facilities Planning Manager with a variety of tasks related to daily operations of the department. This person coordinates the selection, procurement, and installation of hospital and patient room furniture, artwork, privacy curtains, signage and window treatments as requested or required. In addition, this Coordinator manages procurement and invoicing of purchases as well as coordinates and schedules small moves or asset transfers and disposals, working across multiple facilities.
A. Education
1. High school diploma required.
2. Associates degree preferred, or 2-3 years of related experience highly preferred.
B. Experience
1. One-year on-the-job training or similar experience in an allied field.
2. Basic computer skills in Windows, Word, Excel and Power Point.
3. Healthcare design & construction experience preferred.
C. Licensure/Certification
1. Healthcare design & construction certifications preferred.
D. Interpersonal requirements
1. Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills, has a commitment to customer service.
2. Communicates effectively with all applicable customers and age groups.
