Overview
Job Summary: Under the direction of the RN, performs additional delegated duties and responsibilities of a Clinical Tech IV as appropriate to the unit and as competent. Must demonstrate competency in basic direct patient care, throughput processes, unit-specific complex skills and additional functionality as required by the unit. Must demonstrate effective communication, interpersonal, teamwork, organization and prioritization skills. .Is responsible for designated equipment and supplies used in the care of assigned patients. . Must be flexible in changing assignments, workload and learning new skills. Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his/her assigned unit.
Specifications:
1. Education: Minimum education of a High School Diploma or GED is required. Successful completion of an Associate, Diploma or Baccalaureate degree in an accredited U.S. nursing program, eligible to take NCLEX state board examination for licensure as a R.N.
2. Experience: Must successfully complete MCCG and PCS orientation for Clinical Tech/ Nurse Extern, including checklists.
