Job Summary


ALL candidates must have weekend availability for consideration This position will be a part of a weekend rotation.

The Doctors Lounge Attendant will provide prompt and courteous service to all customers. Provide customers with efficient and attentive service while exceeding the customer’s expectations. The general responsibilities of the position include those listed below, other responsibilities may be assigned depending on business necessities and your management request. Must be able to lift a maximum of 50 pounds with frequent lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds. Pushing 350 pounds on carts up and down ramps. Repetitive motions such as turning, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling and twisting. Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time.


General Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining cleanliness of all display vessels for snacks and beverages organization cleanliness of tables and display/ snack stations around the lounge.
  • Maintains fully stocked and presentable beverage and snack stations.
  • Maintains a fully stocked and presentable grab and go thru out the day. Keep all stations fully stocked.
  • Cleans and sanitizes stations and equipment and assists in clearing and settings of the coffee stations.
  • May carry and distribute supplies and equipment.
  • May assist others in the preparation of food and properly store food and beverages.
  • May operate dishwasher or assist with washing dishes, glassware, silverware, utensils, pots, and pans.
  • May assist with stocking proper rotation of snacks beverages coffee and food. Daily inventory and building back to set par levels.
  • Calculates daily inventory and par sheets must turn in at the end of the shift daily . 
  • Cater Trax entry of the totals from par sheets .
  • Attends all allergy and foodborne illness in-service training.
  • Complies with all Sodexo HACCP policies and procedures.
  • Reports all accidents and injuries promptly.
  • Complies with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures.
  • Participates in regular safety meetings, safety training, and hazard assessments.
  • Attends training programs (classroom and virtual) as designated.
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

  • Maintains high standards for work areas and appearance.
  • Maintains a positive attitude.
  • The ability to work a flexible schedule is helpful.
  • Must comply with any dress code requirements.
  • Must be able to work Am shifts, weekends, and some holidays.
  • Attends work and shows up for a scheduled shift on time.

Education, Experience and Certifications
High School Diploma or GED preferred. Must have basic math skills. Must be trainable on the diet office software and hospital information system. Must be able to use the printer, telephone, copier and calculator.
