Job Summary: Delivers exceptionally proficient and technically advanced nursing care to designated patients, embodying the highest standards of professionalism. Administers direct patient care with a comprehensive approach that encompasses the nursing process, involving assessment, strategic planning, meticulous implementation, and thorough evaluation. Assumes a leadership role by skillfully directing and supervising fellow team members while fostering seamless collaboration with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure the provision of age-specific and developmentally tailored care that aligns precisely with the established unit standards of excellence.

 

What You’ll Need: 

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. 
  • Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required
  • CNOR preferred
  • Minimum of one year Operating Room experience or participation in a post-graduate program required.
  • Refresher course required for nurses who have not worked in an Operating Room for five years or more.

  • Effectively, positively, and professionally communicates with the healthcare team, colleagues, patients, and their families.
  • Assumes personal accountability and proactively drives performance and professional advancement.

  • Excel in maintaining peak performance amidst frequent workload fluctuations and competing priorities
  • Adhere to the highest clinical nursing practice standards
  • Adhere to systems for patient safety 
  • Possess fundamental computer proficiency
