Overview

Job Summary

Leads and serves as a functional and technical expert working to support the Facilities Management Group (FMG) business requirements and as a subject matter expert in the design & development of new solutions and processes.


Essential Functions: 

  • Ability to development and support implementation of real estate strategies (market, service line)
  • Strong ability to understand, analyze and interpret key real estate and health care data sources to drive real estate strategies and solutions
  • Strong command of real estate models and structures and ability to incorporate into solutions (financial implications, space requirements)
  • Working knowledge of the construction process and project life cycle; appropriately manages interface and handoffs
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication; comfortable working with and presenting to senior executives
  • Ability to navigate complex political situations and manage key internal and external relationships
  • Serves as a key leader within the AH real estate department and facilities management group
     

Physical Requirements

Requires intermittent walking; standing, lifting, reaching, stooping, pushing/pulling and sitting for prolonged periods of time. Intact sense of sight, hearing, touch, finger dexterity.

Education, Experience and Certifications

  • Bachelors degree and NC Real Estate Broker’s License required
  • 8-10 years experience in corporate real estate with experience in occupancy/space planning, project management, facilities planning
  • Familiarity with AH southeast market areas preferred (Greater Charlotte, Triad, Greater Atlanta)
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance issues
  • Knowledge of Certificate of Need laws
  • Understanding of schematic drawings and project budgets, design and construction processes
