Atrium Health Levine Children’s Healthy Futures, located in Kannapolis, NC, is currently seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (PNP, PA, FNP) with 3-5 years’ experience in pediatric primary care.

We offer a multidisciplinary treatment approach to childhood obesity for children as young as 2 years old. We offer intensive health behavior lifestyle therapy as well as anti-obesity medication and surgical support. Our specialized team includes doctors, a nurse practitioner, a registered dietitian, an exercise physiologist, and a licensed clinical social worker. Together, we empower the whole family to achieve healthier lifestyles from now to the future.

Position Highlights Include:

  • Full-time Opportunity
  • High-volume outpatient clinic
  • Patient scale of 10-15 daily
  • Clinic Hours: M-F 8am-5pm
  • Identify and treat underlying causes of obesity
  • Identify and treat comorbidities related to obesity

Interested candidates should be passionate about helping children and families with obesity in a non-stigmatizing, evidence-based, compassionate approach. Preferred candidates will have training in motivational interviewing, be adept at caring for medically complex patients, and be willing to work with community partners in support of outreach activities. Fluent Spanish preferred but not required.
