Are you a skilled Orthopedic Surgeon seeking a rewarding faculty position in a beautiful mountain town of North Carolina? Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist and the Wake Forest University School of Medicine invite applications for a full-time faculty partner to join an established, busy practice in Wilkesboro, North Carolina.

Position Overview:

• Location: Wilkesboro, North Carolina. 45 minutes from Winston Salem, 30 minutes from Boone, and 60 minutes from Charlotte, North Carolina. 
• Clinical Focus: The ideal candidate will be proficient in treating conditions in both inpatient and outpatient settings. 
• Teaching Opportunities: Engage in orthopedic resident and fellow teaching, as well as participate in clinical and laboratory research if interested.
• Collaboration: Join a team of 90 faculty in the Department, 4 surgeon faculty, 1 non operative physician and 3 APPs in practice ensuring seamless referrals and collaboration.
• Call Expectations: Call duties include general orthopedic call 4-6 days per month with the support of APPs and fellows. 
• Support: Benefit from the support of 3 advanced practice providers (APP) and active clinical support.

Qualifications:

• Certification: Candidates should be board certified or board eligible in Orthopedic Surgery. 
• License: Eligible for NC Medical License.
