Overview
The Storekeeper/Buyer maintains material and parts stores for the plant facilities department. This individual locates reputable vendors and orders parts and materials at the best price available with comparable quality. The Storekeeper/Buyer verifies plant facility payroll data and maintains tool records for plant facilities personnel.
The qualified candidate will possess the following:
A. Education
1. High school diploma or GED from accredited institution
B. Experience
1. Four or more years in maintenance/engineering/purchasing field
2. Knowledgeable in two or more areas of plant facilities work
3. Possess a working knowledge of mechnical, electrical, structural, and plumbing components and devices
