Opportunity Highlights

  • Inpatient setting assigned to complete OB triage, assessment, admission, and follow up plan
  • Schedule: 24-hour shifts 7 days per month
  • The CNM will be the first call for any OB patients from telehealth and responsible for all “low risk” postpartum patients
  • The CNM will be assigned laboring patients daily, depending on the census of both Eastover and Charlotte OB, and will be responsible for the patient’s labor management and delivery. 

Minimum Qualifications

  • License to practice as a Registered Nurse required.
  • Certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board and approved to practice as a Nurse Midwife in the state of NC/SC.
  • Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider from AHA required.
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certified
  • Minimum 1 year as a CNM or 5 years’ experience in labor and delivery
