Overview
Hospice Clinical Technician/CNA
Work Setting: Home Care Hospice (8:30a - 5p) and Inpatient Hospice (7a-7p)
Day Shift
Split position between homecare and IPU, with 3 eight hour shifts with homecare and 2 twelve hour shifts in IPU.
What you will do:
Responsible for demonstrating competency in basic direct patient care (hygiene, vital signs, etc...), throughput processes, effective communication, interpersonal, teamwork, organization and prioritization skills. Maintains designated equipment and supplies used in the care of assigned patients. Must be flexible in changing assignments, workload (working in both the inpatient unit and homecare settings) and learning new skills.
What you will need:
High School Diploma or GED
Patient care experience preferred
Current Certified Nursing Assistant certification
