Our team currently consists of 5 Psychologists, 2 Neuropsychologists, 3 Psychotherapists and an excellent clinical support team.

Atrium Health is excited to announce a new Pediatric Psychologist position. This is a full-time Pediatric Psychology non-tenure track faculty position. Levine Children’s Cancer and Blood Disorders Program is a growing program that offers comprehensive care, clinical trials, and high acuity therapies to pediatric hematology/oncology and stem cell transplant patients. 

Opportunity details:

• The group consists of 16 physicians and 13 advanced practice providers. 
• This Psychologist will provide treatment and intervention to medically ill children in Levine Children’s Cancer and Blood Disorders program for approximately 60% time.
• The remaining 40% of the position will include both inpatient and outpatient work accepting referrals from several medical specialties, including cardiology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, nephrology, pulmonology, infectious disease, genetics, neurology, and rheumatology.

Ideal Candidate: 

• Must be APA accredited doctoral and internship program, with training in pediatric or child clinical psychology. 
• Candidates must be licensed or license eligible clinical psychologists in NC. 
• We encourage applicants with interests or experience in training practicum students and/or postdoctoral fellows. 
• This position requires someone who is skilled at interdisciplinary teamwork, autonomy, time management, communication, adaptability, and evidence-based short-term treatment approaches.
