Atrium Health Sanger Heart & Vascular Institute at Union West is seeking a full-time Cardiology acute care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide quality care to the patients we serve in the Matthews/Monroe community. This Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will function independently with support from physicians at nearby Atrium Health hospitals. 

Position Highlights: 

• 5 provider practice with 1 physician and 4 APPs
• Practice is located at a community-based hospital with basic cath lab services
• Occasional coverage needed at Union West 
• Hours: Monday to Friday, five 8-hour shifts per week
• Occasional weekends/holidays may be required
• No call coverage
• Mix of Inpatient and outpatient coverage

Ideal Candidate:

• Cardiology experience is preferred as well as at least 2 years of experience as a NP/PA
• Acute Care certification is required for NP candidates
• Flexible and enjoys working with a team
