Overview
Job Summary: Assures effective and efficient assignment and dispatch of staff in response to patient transport requests. Makes precise, quick, and appropriate decisions based on patient needs, hospital demands and procedural areas availability. Assists hospital leadership in the resolution of unique patient lift and transport related needs. Works with a sense of urgency and in alignment with our operational output metrics. Is responsible for staff performance and utilization of equipment as assigned by the Manager.
Specifications:
- Education: High School diploma or GED
- Experience: At least two (2) years of experience in clinical care as a transporter or patient care technician.
- Certification / License / Registration: Must have a valid Georgia’s Driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
