Overview
This position is Sign-on Bonus eligible.
Monday-Friday 9:00A to 5P (day shift-specialty tech)
Under indirect supervision, performs all duties associated with acquisition, processing, submission for interpretation and archiving of general and specialized ultrasound images. Responsible for the care of the patient while in the ultrasound department. Performs portable US exams based on provider order and/or patient condition.
Requirements
Graduate of AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology, vascular or cardiovascular ultrasound program, or BS in Ultrasound.
One year experience in a Specialty area of Vascular US.
Registered Sonographer through ARDMS or ARRT.
In addition, registered or registry eligible through ARDMS as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT). Within one year of employment.
