Atrium Health Sanger Heart & Vascular Institute – Charlotte, is currently seeking a Full-Time Adult Cardiothoracic Surgery Advanced Practice Provider to join their established practice in Charlotte, NC. You’ll be joining a great team atmosphere with opportunities for autonomy. Our surgeons are readily available and easy to work with. Our busy practice provides plenty of opportunities for continued growth while remaining centrally location.

Practice Highlights: 

• The practice has 12 cardiac and thoracic surgeons across SHVI and 28 surgical APPs at three sites in the Charlotte Metro Area; SHVI Mercy, NorthEast, and Pineville
• Busy practice averaging 1500 cases a year between cardiac and thoracic services 
• The practice performs both inpatient and outpatient procedures and utilizes a closed ICU 
• No OR responsibilities. No call. No travel required to other sites
• Position consists of 75% Thoracic and 25% Cardiac duties. 

Ideal candidates: 

• Willingness to work in both an inpatient and outpatient setting on a rotating four, 10-hour shift schedule with rotating weekend coverage. Anticipated to work 1 weekend every 3-4 weeks. 
• Experience performing some procedures, including bedside talc pleurodesis, autologous blood patch, TPA instillation, chest tube removal, pericardial drain removal, and wound vac placements. .
