Overview
Responsible for responding to requests for patient health information ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards to include HIPAA. Reviews the images scanned and imported into the electronic document management system for proper image quality, verifies demographics; indexes documents to the correct patient level, correct encounter level, and correct document level.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Four years experience in medical records or a healthcare position
