Overview
This position is Sign-on Bonus eligible. Registered Nurses are eligible for a bonus of $7,500 for part time positions. LCH 5 – Pre/Post Op Post Op: The Day Hospital currently has 8 beds. The unit is to be used for patients that are only expected to be here for several hours, such as patients coming in for transfusions or post-operative patients that only need to be monitored for few hours. The PACU, which is separated from the Day Hospital, has 15 slots for patients. The staff ratio is 1:2. Pediatric patients are taken directly to our PACU after surgery to recover before being sent to a unit.
Candidates must have at least 6 months of RN experience, this position is not for new graduates.

Job Summary
The RN Clinical Nurse I provides professional nursing care through skillful assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation in accordance with facility or department policies procedures, and/or protocols under the supervision of the nursing leader. Assists in maintaining a safe work environment and performs all related job responsibilities in a safe manner. Maintains clinical and professional competency as appropriate to the population of patients served.
