LCH 5 – Pre/Post Op Post Op: The Day Hospital currently has 8 beds. The unit is to be used for patients that are only expected to be here for several hours, such as patients coming in for transfusions or post-operative patients that only need to be monitored for few hours. The PACU, which is separated from the Day Hospital, has 15 slots for patients. The staff ratio is 1:2. Pediatric patients are taken directly to our PACU after surgery to recover before being sent to a unit.
Candidates must have at least 6 months of RN experience, this position is not for new graduates.
