Overview

Atrium Health’s Carolinas Hospitalist Group in Matthews, NC (a suburb of Charlotte) is searching for a Nocturnist to join our team at our Union West location.  

Position details include:

• Night time work schedules of 7 on / 7 off, 7pm – 7 am
• 100% inpatient adult medicine, open ICU
• 4-8 admissions per shift with additional cross cover duties
• Total Hospitalist team of 6 physicians and 6 APPs
• Internal Medicine Board Certified.

This new facility features: 40 licensed acute care beds, 30 medical/surgical beds, 6 labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum rooms, 4 intensive care unit (ICU) beds, 10 emergency department bays open 24/7, with a helipad, 3 operating rooms, 2 surgery suites, 1 cesarean (C-section) delivery operating room, imaging services, including MRI, CT scan, X-ray, ultrasound and laboratory and pharmacy services
