The Greater Charlotte Student Nurse Scholars Program provides an opportunity for clinical experiences in a supportive environment for a successful transition from student to registered nurse.  

Carolinas Medical Center - Medical/Oncology Unit

Student Nurse Scholars Program Details and Eligibility:

Current nursing students who have completed their first semester of nursing school and obtained Nurse Aide I or II credentials before the program start date.  

Participants must be able to work at a location in the Atrium Health Greater Charlotte market.    

Flexible scheduling determined by the dept leader (8-72 hours every two weeks)

All participants are eligible for $3,000 per year in prepaid tuition assistance after 90-days of employment  

There is a one-year work commitment that begins once the tuition assistance is received.  

Applications should include a resume with relevant experience and education including CNA Nursing program and anticipated graduation date  

Students must remain in good standing with their nursing academic program to participate.
