Overview
This position is Sign-on Bonus eligible. Registered Nurses are eligible for a bonus of $15,000 for full time positions and $7,500 for part time positions. Atrium Health Pineville Day Surgery is a 25-bay unit that prepares patients for a great variety of procedures such as general surgery, ortho, OBGYN, urology, vascular, minor neuro/spinal, cardiac surgery, among others. Generally, phase one recovery is completed in PACU and phase two outpatient procedures will return to the Day Surgery area for additional education and discharge. Atrium Pineville pre-operative screening department, day surgery, and PACU all work under the same leadership as one cohesive unit. Job Summary
The RN Clinical Nurse I provides professional nursing care through skillful assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation in accordance with facility or department policies procedures, and/or protocols under the supervision of the nursing leader. Assists in maintaining a safe work environment and performs all related job responsibilities in a safe manner. Maintains clinical and professional competency as appropriate to the population of patients served.
