Position Details:

• Schedule: Monday-Friday (8:00am-5:00pm)
• No call

Position Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited NP or PA program. Must be approved to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of North Carolina and South Carolina. Current prescriptive privileges and DEA license required. BLS for healthcare provider from AHA required.
• Nurse practitioners are required to have a master’s degree or doctorate in nursing practice.
• Physician Assistants with certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants preferred. Current or pending CAQ certification preferred.
• 2+ years of experience preferred. Some OB/GYN experience preferred but not required.
• Demonstrates appropriate critical thinking and interpersonal skills when working in a fast paced, high acuity work environment. Able to perform thorough history and physical assessment. Able to work with multidisciplinary team.

Fort Mill is a fast-growing town in both York and Lancaster counties in the U.S. state of South Carolina, and a suburb of the city of Charlotte, North Carolina, and Rock Hill, South Carolina. Approximately 9,400 people live inside the town's corporate limits with a total of 34,968 people residing within the entire Urban area. In the 2010 census, the population for the municipality of Fort Mill had a population of 10,811. Fort Mill township is home to notable businesses such as Continental Tire the Americas, LLC., Muzak, Springs Industries, The Inspiration Network (INSP), URS Corporation's Nuclear Center, and serves as the headquarters of Carolina Crown Drum and Bugle Corps.
