Overview
The Clinical Nursing Supervisor facilitates daily nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, assists with overall unit compliance with JCAHO standards and collaborates with physicians and other members of the healthcare team to best meet patient clinical needs. The Supervisor supports the objectives of nursing leadership and is responsible for the clinical management and day to day operations of the unit.
Requirements:
- EDUCATION
- Graduate of an accredited school of Professional Nursing
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
- LICENSURES OR CERTIFICATIONS
- Valid, active unencumbered Nursing license approved by the Georgia Licensing Board for GA locations and Alabama Licensing Board for AL locations
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification preferred
- Certification in related specialty preferred
- EXPERIENCE
- Progressive leadership
- Administrative and clinical competencies
- 2 years operating room experience preferred
