Overview
What You Will Do:
As assigned by the chief perfusionist and under the direction of the primary surgeon, the clinical perfusionist will set-up and operate devices such as the heart-lung machine for cardiopulmonary bypass procedure, ventricular assist, autologous autotransfusion. He/she will also provide IABP and surgical back-up for procedures preformed in the heart catheterization lab and will provide clinical support to the Surgery Center 24 hours a day and maintain technical skills in accordance with proper procedures/protocols for the use of ancillary equipment within the perfusion area.
What You Will Need:
- Graduate of an accredited training program and Certified by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion Certification.
- At least 2 years of perfusion experience.
- Current Georgia Perfusion License
