Overview

Atrium Health Levine Children’s is seeking a part-time Pediatrician (0.6 FTE) to join their Rutherford Pediatrics team. Located in Rutherfordton, NC, this office has 2 Pediatricians and fantastic support staff. The office has been a part of the community for over 20 years and enjoyed strong community support.

Rutherford Pediatrics is a part of Atrium Health Children’s Services which includes Levine Children’s Hospital, a nationally ranked hospital which has taken us to another level of service to care for the growing population of children in our region. Ranked as one of the top Children’s Hospitals by U.S. News and World Report in eight specialties for 2021-2022, it is the most comprehensive children’s hospital between Atlanta and Washington, DC, helping families stay closer to home.  There are 12 floors with 234 patient beds, including a 20-bed PICU.

Position details: 

• Outpatient only, Monday-Friday 8:00-5:00 (2.5 days/week)
• Call coverage shared evenly among all providers
• Existing patient panel   
• Patient panel, ages 0-21, average of 20-24 patients a day

Requirements: 

• BE/BC certified Pediatrician
