IS Manager

Overview

The Imaging Services Manager shall perform administrative and supervisory duties under the direct supervision of the Director of Imaging Services and the radiologists. Duties include the direct supervision of departmental activities, the technical staff, and all ancillary/support personnel. In addition, the Imaging Services Manager will provide appropriate age-specific patient care to all patient populations including neonate, infant, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric.

2. QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Education

1. High School Graduate
2. Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology
3. Meet the requirements for registry by the ARRT

2. Experience

1. At least five years of experience as a staff technologist and possessing capabilities as determined to be adequate by the Director of Imaging Services.

3. Licensure/Certification

1. Current ARRT registry
2. Maintain and document continuing education requirements as required by the ARRT

4. Interpersonal requirements

1. Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
2. A commitment to customer service
3. Communicate effectively with all applicable customers and age groups
4. Posses the ability to work effectively independently or in a team environment
