Job Summary
Performs various equipment and supply functions related to the daily operation of the Respiratory Care. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to maintain adequate materials and supply inventories for the entire Respiratory Care Department.
Essential Functions
- Stocks exchange carts, equipment bins and inventory.
- Performs inventories on bulk stock supplies.
- Receives supplies upon delivery.
- Maintains adequate inventory of E cylinder oxygen.
- Makes periodic oxygen tank rounds in the nursing unit and replenishes empty tanks.
- Cleans, disinfects, sterilizes, and packages reusable supplies.
- Demonstrates Core values and Standards of Excellence.
Work requires frequent walking (sometimes briskly), running, standing, heavy lifting (assisting with patients and stocking shelves),and significant writing.
