Overview
Job Summary:
Formulates and defines system scope and objectives. Developing, deploying, and maintaining our data governance program across the Enterprise. Working with health system leaders to identify priorities and align efforts across the data governance workstreams (Reference and Master Data; Metadata; Data Quality; Data Policy; Data Domains; Analytics). Provides guidance and training to other application specialists.
Use policies, procedures and tools to help to manage the integrity and usability of Atrium’s data
Essential Functions:
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift objects that weigh up to 35 lbs. This position is subject to high-level visibility through verbal and written communications with senior hospital management, associated project deadlines, personnel evaluation, and counseling. Must be available for on-call support on a regular basis. Due to project requirements, overtime will be required, as needed.
Education, Experience and Certifications:
High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Formal training in data governance, project management, information systems and desktop applications preferred. Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Data Analytics, Statistics, Business Administration or another related field preferred. Formal training in a variety of information systems technology preferred: desktop applications (MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint), data governance, project management (PMP). 2 years’ experience in the healthcare industry preferred. Experience with Informatica a plus.
