Overview
What You Will Do:
Provides independent professional cardiopulmonary care/diagnostic procedures to patients of all ages to include ventilation, arterial canalization, endotracheal intubation, and all other procedures applicable to the field of respiratory care. Provides EKG’s, Cardiac treadmill stress tests and may perform EEG’s as directed by the medical staff and pursuant to the policies and procedures of the organization. At all times, works under the guidelines set forth by the delineation of clinical privileges established by the Medical Director and where final and ultimate authority, judgment and clinical decision-making are the responsibility of the physician. Communicates with physicians, nurses, other healthcare workers, patients and families.
What You Will Need:
- Graduate from an accredited school of Respiratory Care
- Two (2) years in Respiratory Care
- Current Georgia State license to practice Respiratory Care and current BCLS. ACLS and PALS must be obtained within three (3) months of hire. Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
