Imaging Supervisor

Overview

Supervises technologists and other ancillary personnel assigned to The Breast Center. Performs other diagnostic imaging as needed within the department. Must possess strong initiative, and independent judgment skills. Must possess the ability to supervise others. Provides appropriate age-specific patient care to the following patient populations: neonate, infant, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric.

Qualifications:

A. Education

1. High School Graduate
2. Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology
3. Meets the requirements for registry by the ARRT.

 B. Experience

1. Minimum of three years' experience in mammography.
2. Minimum of one-year experience supervising others is preferable

c. Licensure/Certification

1. Must hold current ARRT(R)(M) registry; the card must be on file in Imaging Services Managers office.
2. Maintains and documents continuing education requirements as required by the ARRT
3. Maintains and documents ACR and MQSA required documentation on a yearly basis.
4. Must be currently BCLS certified or become certified within three months of employment
