The Patient Financial Services Support Analyst – Reporting provides extensive reporting and process support for Patient Accounting in addition to planning and executing special projects that enable Patient Financial Services management to stay focused on their primary objectives. A successful Support Analyst will create accurate reporting, solve problems, and introduce automation opportunities with exemplary customer service and communication skills.
Work in a fast-paced office environment with numerous interruptions. Work under time pressure. Due to the nature of this position, the responsibilities and tasks are varied. Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy are critical. This person may, from time to time, travel back and forth between CHS facilities to meet with appropriate personnel. Each employee has the responsibility to work in a safe manner. Maintains clinical and professional competency as appropriate to the ages of the patients served.
Education, Experience and Certifications
Graduation from a two-year institution of higher learning preferable, with an emphasis in healthcare administration, business, accounting, accounting, or computer science, and at least one year of Patient Accounting experience. Expert in the use of Microsoft Access, Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook applications, experience with Microsoft operating systems. Must have good mathematical aptitude, oral and written communication skills, 10-key, computer proficiency, and reporting experience. Epic Clarity certification preferred.
