We are recruiting a Board-Certified Critical Care physician, for an Intensivist position at Carolinas Medical Center (CMC), the flagship hospital of Atrium Health.


CMC Pulmonary and Critical Care Consultants (PCCC) is an established group of 28 Critical Care and Pulmonary Medicine physicians and 19 APP’s who aspire to the highest level of critical care management through multidisciplinary teams. Our practice manages patients in several high-acuity specialty intensive care units including the Medical ICU, Neuro ICU, Cardiac ICU, Cardiovascular Surgery ICU and Bone Marrow Transplant ICU.  Intensivists provide on-sight 24-7 coverage for the medical center with more than 1000 hospital beds, including 140 adult ICU bed capacity.


Details of position and qualified candidate:


  • Fellowship training in Critical Care Medicine, with or without additional Pulmonary fellowship training
  • Clinical practice position with day, evening and night responsibilities
  • Preference for applicants with post-fellowship CCM practice experience and cardiac ICU experience
