Reports to the Chief Compliance Officer and is responsible for performing compliance audits and special projects in a professional manner on various clinical systems and corresponding financial/revenue collections systems. This person must be able to work with and understand the functions of the Enterprise and Market departments in order to review for appropriate internal controls, financial practices (including charging and billing), policies and procedures, and government compliance. The Compliance Analyst will perform independent systemic and targeted evaluations of financial data including billing, charging, and documentation systems (i.e. revenue cycle, electronic medical record, other ancillary systems as deemed appropriate for review). The Compliance Analyst will perform data pulls and data mining from various systems throughout the organization.
Must be a High School Diploma or GED Graduated. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Four years relevant experience may be substituted for Bachelor’s degree. 3 years of experience in healthcare environment. Healthcare Compliance/Audit/Billing/Revenue Cycle experience preferred.
