Levine Children's Hospital 5 - Observation/Infusion Unit consists of 12 beds with a mixed population of observation and short stay inpatients. Most of our patients are surgical or procedural and are here for less than 48 hours. Our surgical patients are usually children who have had an appendectomy, cleft lip or palate repair, or cardiac catheterization. We also care for children requiring special testing such as FPIES studies, plasmapheresis, and water deprivation studies. This part time position is for night shift, 7p - 7a, 3 12 hour shifts per week (weekends included).
Candidates must have at least 6 months of RN experience, this position is not for new graduates.

Job Summary
The RN Clinical Nurse I provides professional nursing care through skillful assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation in accordance with facility or department policies procedures, and/or protocols under the supervision of the nursing leader. Assists in maintaining a safe work environment and performs all related job responsibilities in a safe manner. Maintains clinical and professional competency as appropriate to the population of patients served.
