Overview
Medical Technologist (MT, MLS, CLT, CLS)
What you will do:
AHN is a Level I Trauma Center. Our Laboratory provides sophisticated inpatient and outpatient testing services in a fully automated Core Laboratory to include automated Abbott chemistry line, IRIS urine analyzers, Diagnostica Stago coagulation analyzers and Sysmex hematology line. LIS system is EPIC Beaker.
What you need:
High School or GED Diploma
Baccalaureate degree from accredited college or university to include minimum of 30 quarter hours of lecture science, including at least 15 quarter hours of chemistry, 10 quarter hours of biology and 5 quarter hours of math
Registration as a Medical Technologist (MT, MLS, CLT, CLS) by the Board of Registry as ASCP, AMT or registry eligible - All newly hired technical staff must pass an approved certification exam within twelve (12) months of placement in this occupational classification
