Overview

Job Summary

This individual is responsible for assisting in relationship development to increase referrals for inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services through professional customer involvement and dynamic new business development campaigns.  Serves as an interface between the general public, hospitals and medical professions for the purpose of expanding rehabilitation awareness.  Individuals will target new business opportunities with key stakeholders and community professionals.  Individual will work collaboratively with corporate communications and marketing department on strategic rehabilitation initiatives and with the Business Development team to ensure that new business relationships are being properly transitioned and maintained.  Provides direction and coordination of physician integration efforts, monitors results and initiates best practices for areas of responsibility.  Coordinates strategic plans for best results with team efforts.

Essential Functions

  • Develops educational awareness opportunities specific to the needs of the rehabilitation service area including inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation and EQUADR.
  • Represents the CR brand to professional audiences.  Educates on services and programs on an informal and formal basis including but not limited to conferences, health fairs, CEU opportunities and other rehabilitation marketing events.
  • Contributes to strategic growth through the identification of potential business opportunities.
  • Works closely with the corporate communications and marketing department in support of current marketing initiatives and identifying new opportunities to expand marketing efforts to local and regional markets. 
  • Maintain and update a Customer Relationship Management (CRMO) database of key stakeholders and professional contacts.  Analyzes trends and patterns for referral opportunities.
  • Provides market intelligence through the development and maintenance of relationships with various community stakeholders.  Responds directly to inquiries and questions relevant to rehabilitation programs.
  • Help bridge relationships between levels of care to ensure a quality continuum of services and to identify opportunities to leverage brand marketability.
  • Supports program development through the collaboration and implementation of marketing activities that result in volume growth.  Participates in community events and explores CEU opportunities
  • Promotes the CR brand through social media avenues and identifies success stories in collaboration with marketing and business development teams.

Physical Requirements

Works in patient care areas, physician offices, clinical and office areas.  Work requires walking, bending, standing and sitting.  Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.  Requires critical thinking skills, creativity, multi-tasking and the ability to respond quickly in stressful situations.

Education, Experience and Certifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts, Business, Marketing, or related field required. 2 years in sales required and 1 year in rehab preferred. Valid driver’s license required.
