Levine Children's Hospital 5 - Observation/Infusion Unit consists of 12 beds with a mixed population of observation and short stay inpatients. Most of our patients are surgical or procedural and are here for less than 48 hours. Our surgical patients are usually children who have had an appendectomy, cleft lip or palate repair, or cardiac catheterization. We also care for children requiring special testing such as FPIES studies, plasmapheresis, and water deprivation studies. This full time position is for day shift, 7a - 7p, with weekend and holiday requirements.
