The South Park and Fort Mill OBGYN practices are currently recruiting two BE/BC OB LABORISTS to join our newly formed practice by delivering at Atrium Health Pineville in the southern portion of Charlotte, NC.

Position Highlights:

• 7 call days per month; 24-hour shifts
• Atrium Health Pineville recognized among the nation’s “Best Maternity Centers” by U.S. News & World Report and Newsweek
• Delivering for brand new OB/GYN practice with two locations opening October 2023, January 2024, respectively
• Practice consists of 4 Generalists and 2 Laborists
• Deliveries and surgeries at Atrium Health Pineville, Level III Neonatal Care Unit

Atrium Health Pineville, a 235-bed hospital, has offered a personal brand of caring to southern Mecklenburg, York, and Lancaster counties since its founding in 1987. The hospital offers comprehensive maternity services in a warm and comfortable environment. Our maternity center has been recognized for supporting multiple birthing options and working with families to accommodate birth plans. Our family-centered approach involves mother-baby care and allows them to stay together in a private room. The same nurse cares for mother and baby, encouraging family bonding and breastfeeding. Skin-to-skin contact and mother-baby care is important in the first hours of life.

Pineville rests in southern Mecklenburg County, NC which is located between Charlotte and York County, South Carolina. Forever changed by the initial segment of Interstate 485 opening to traffic, Pineville exploded into what is presently known as the largest shopping district in the state of North Carolina. However, much of Pineville remains undeveloped; continuing to emulate the ‘small-town’ feel loved by many.

Atrium Health is actively seeking two Board Certified OB/GYN physicians to develop the South Pines OB/GYN practice.

Atrium Health Women’s Care is home to one of the most expansive OB/GYN teams in the nation, comprised of board-certified specialists in every focus of a woman’s health. These experts provide world-class obstetric and gynecological care at locations throughout our region, including maternity centers and state-of-the-art facilities for infertility treatment and pelvic health. With nearly 200 physicians and providers, we have one of the largest OB/GYN teams in the nation. We have 9 maternity centers in the greater Charlotte area, where hundreds of babies are delivered every day.

• All deliveries and procedures at Atrium Health Pineville, Level III Neonatal Care Unit
• Diagnose and Treat the Full Spectrum of OB/GYN and Women’s Health Conditions
• Call: 4 – 5 a month including weekends
• Large office space with new equipment
