Overview

About our Medical Intensive Care unit, located on our beautiful Baldwin campus in Milledgeville, GA: 

• 12-bed MICU  

• Patient population can include sepsis, DKA, COPD, and abdominal issues such as bowel obstructions. In addition to A-fib, heart failure, and other cardiac related issues and some neuro patients.   

• RNs new to MICU nursing are enrolled in the Critical Care Academy (CCA) and also have the ability to cross-orient in the emergency department! 

• Virtual Critical Care (VCC), an amazing capability that allows critical care nurses, RRTs, and physicians to be accessible by just pressing one button in your patient's room. 

What you will need:  

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.  

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in nursing  

• Current valid Georgia nursing license or eNLC nursing license   

• A passion to do your best!   

• Will consider current nursing student who is graduating from an accredited RN education program within 60 days
